Questions, answered
What people ask before they trust one app with their files, chats, calls, screens and remote sessions.
No. Create a room, share the 6-character code or QR, and the transfer starts — no signup, no email, no password. An account is only for chat, calls and contacts.
Nowhere on our end. Once the two devices connect, files travel directly between them over a WebRTC DataChannel — PeerFlow’s server only ever sees the room code and connection metadata, never file bytes.
Yes. WebRTC DataChannels are encrypted with DTLS by default, so the connection is secure without any extra setup.
PeerFlow works across most home, mobile and office networks. On the same Wi-Fi or hotspot, files move over the local network at full speed. When a direct path is impossible (strict firewalls, carrier-grade NAT), file transfers can fall back to a relay — the data stays encrypted end to end, so the relay can’t read it.
Enter your name, email and a password. We email you a 6-digit code to confirm the address, and every sign-in asks for a fresh emailed code as a second step, so a stolen password alone isn’t enough.
Yes — add a contact by their email or @username (and save them under any name you like), then message, make voice or video calls and share your screen. While you are both online everything goes directly between your devices.
Yes. Create a group from your contacts to chat together; every message is encrypted separately for each member. Group voice calls take up to 8 people and group video calls up to 4, all connected directly device to device.
The message is end-to-end encrypted on your device, then held on the PeerFlow server — which cannot read it — until they come back online. Once delivered it is deleted from the server.
On your own devices, encrypted with a key only your password unlocks. You can also turn on the sync folder, which keeps an encrypted copy in Downloads/PeerFlow (or a folder you choose) and saves files people send you there.
Yes, end to end. Each account has its own keys, created on your device and locked with your password. Messages are sealed before they leave your device, and calls are connected peer-to-peer with a handshake no server can tamper with. You can compare a safety code with a contact to verify it (chat menu → Verify encryption).
You can ask a contact to share their screen, live and sharp enough to read, in a call, a meeting or a remote session. They choose exactly what to show and can stop at any time. Screen viewing is view-only — PeerFlow doesn’t control another computer.
Yes. Download the Android app, or get the Windows app from the Microsoft Store (both are on the Download page). They open straight to your chats. Meetings and file sharing also work in a browser; sign-in, chat, calls and remote access are in the apps.
